The founders are artists and printmakers and maintain over a ten-year background in Fine Art and Digital Printmaking. Their extensive knowledge of art, photography, and imaging helped to pioneer the development of a new technological phenomenon known as Large Format Color Digital Printing. In 1995, having perfected the process for fine art reproduction, they began evangelizing this technology. They have a technical background in color imaging and expertise in software development for the Digital Printing industry which has been integrally applied to their business application.

DiToro Design is a personalized hand-crafted company specializing in its trade. Each project is individually suited to the customer's specific needs. The company's unique process allows the customer to view a smaller scale color proof of the exact image prior to the actual wall installation. This minimizes the perceived ambiguity and allows for the customers complete expectations to be met. Additionally, if the customer relocates, damages the wall, wants to change the size, color or make a personal adjustment, the digital process makes it possible to change or reprint a section or the entire work.

The flexibility and versatility of the computer, digitized artwork and digital printmaking studio allow for this exciting development of an assortment of new wall covering products printed on a wide variety of substrates. Interior designers or home decorating enthusiasts can choose their desired image from our Image Library or provide a photograph of their choice. Once the image is selected, the composition is designed and prepared for a smaller scale, printed, color proof. The designer can then work from this proof for all of the customer's needs. When the design is approved, the final large-scale printing takes place for production and installation. The installation process used is identical to normal décor wallpaper.
