The Enviroscape waterfall is a unique and stunning art form for your home or office. It blends the soothing sounds and dynamic visual effects of cascading water as it naturally refreshes the air.

Each waterfall is built to the customers selection of outer coverings and comes in three different sizes.

Enviroscapes has been designing and producing the Whispering Waterfall since 1989. Since then the product has been constantly improved with added features for refined performance.

Enviroscape Whispering Waterfalls is a sole proprietorship founded by Wayne H. Biessman. The company is in the business of manufacturing and selling luxury indoor waterfalls. The business was started in 1988 and operated part time from a garage for the first nine years. During this time, Mr. Biessman was employed full time as Director of Engineering at Index Industries in Huntington Beach, CA. Building waterfalls was more of a hobby pursued on evenings and weekends. During this period the product was improved and refined and some initial efforts were made to market the product with some success.

In the early years the product had high associated labor costs. At that time the price of a waterfall was in the $5000 range and the product was sold through one retail outlet in Fountain Valley, CA. A waterfall was placed on consignment in their store. During a two-year period, six waterfalls were sold at this price.

We learned from this experience and made changes. A better marketing strategy was devised. A large investment was made in reducing the labor and improving the reliability of the product. The price for the same waterfall has been reduced to $2500 and we now offer an improved product.

In September of 1997 a 1200sf building was leased at 1788 Monrovia Ave., Costa Mesa, CA. In July of 1999 Mr. Biessman retired from Index Industries to devote his time to the waterfall business. His first priority was to reduce manufacturing costs by better design, better raw material purchasing, and by building jigs and fixtures to enhance the product quality and reduce the labor per waterfall. In May of 2000 the priority changed to marketing.

In July of 2001 Waters by Design, Inc. was signed as the first distributor for the company. Waters by Design was selected to become the exclusive distributor for the State of Nevada. This Corporation was selected because of their knowledge of the Nevada market, their financial strength, and their valuable experience in the water feature industry.

We have now outgrown our manufacturing facilities and in September of 2002 we moved to a larger facility at 1835 Whittier Ave. - Unit B, Costa Mesa, CA 92627.

The most important company strength is the product line we currently offer. It is very attractive in appearance. The design lends itself to an infinite number of custom coverings that can blend in and enhance any type of décor. The product has been engineered to a high degree of reliability. It is easily installed and maintenance is minimal.
