NovaCork Floatng Floors:

NovaCork Floating Floors are available in 28 distinctive patterns, manufactured in 12” x 36” planks in your choice of “Tongue & Groove” or “Klick”(glueless) installation systems. Each plank is comprised of 3 layers: The surface layer of 2 mm 100% high-density cork, the middle layer of high-density fiber core with a base layer of 2mm low density cork underlayment, ensuring excellent thermal & acoustic insulation.

Cork has been used as flooring since the 1800’s. NovaCork is harvested from the bark of oak trees (Quercus Suber) indigenous to Spain and Portugal. These trees naturally reproduce bark in 9-year cycles and suffer no adverse affects from the harvesting process; making cork one of the earth’s few truly renewable resources. After harvesting, the cork is cured for 3 – 6 months, then ground into granules and compressed with special glues at high pressure into sheets. Burning the cork prior to compression and varying the granule size allows for different colors and patterns to be created.

NovaCork floating floors are extremely durable and provide both acoustic and thermal insulation benefits, as each cubic inch of cork’s honeycomb like structure contains over 100 million air cells or pockets. It is cork’s gaseous composition that allows it to be extremely resilient and able to recover rapidly from compression.

Cork is impermeable, hypoallergenic, antistatic, antimicrobial, flame retardant, and a natural insect repellent as it contains Suberin, a naturally occurring waxy compound that gives cork its unique qualities.

NovaLinoleum Floating Floors:

NovaLinoleum is a sustainable, natural product that gets it name from its main ingredient linseed oil. Linseed oil is pressed from the flaxseed, dried and ground into a fine powder known as “linoleum cement”. The cement is combined with ground cork and/or pine rosins, wood flour and natural pigments and pressed into homogenous sheets.

NovaLinoleum is an extremely durable product that is comfortable, warm and quiet. NovaLinoleum Floating Floors are excellent thermal and acoustic insulators. NovaLinoleum is also hypoallergenic, anti-microbial and antistatic. With its inherent antistatic and anti-microbial qualities, NovaLinoleum repels dust and dirt as well as resists the development of microbes making it a wonderful choice home, office, preschools or medical facilities.

NovaLinoleum Floating Floors are available in 11 decorative colors to coordinate with any interior design and are manufactured in 12” x 36” planks in your choice of “Tongue & Groove” or “Klick”(glueless) installation systems. Each plank is comprised of 3 layers: The surface layer of 2 mm homogenous linoluem, the middle layer of high-density fiber core with a base layer of 2 mm low density cork underlayment, ensuring excellent thermal & acoustic insulation.

NovaLinoleum’s natural properties provide a high level of durability with ease of maintenance for any design criteria.
