Paris Flea specializes in unique decors; we mix and match styles and various period of furnishings to give our design clients an edge over time, in that their interior are timeless reflections of the best in design, reflecting our client most excellent taste.

Our creative abilities are unsurpassed; many of our clients return to us every few years, not because they tire of their décor. But, because they sold their home furnished and have bought a new home and want us to build their dream décor again. Or, they want to add something new to their décor. Once we have designed a hoes décor, we know it like the back of our hand, or as my daughter says " Mom, I could it in my sleep". and we can continue to layer items in a clients home literally years later. Our three house rules are: style, quality, and Service. (please use the attached staff shot). What we sell is our staff.

We have a beautiful well appointed showroom of ready to install furnishings. We offer mistake proof design services, in that we will load up your selections arrive at your home with a setup staff and place every item according to the rooms scale. If something is not quite right, we take it out and find the right piece. We offer instant decors; but not like rooms to go, where everything looks like a mindless puzzle of perfect squares all the same color.

First off there is no staff quite like paris Fleas. We all work as a team, with each of us bring a special gift to the clients home. When we are contracted to perform,( we charge $150 per hour for design time), everyone is hands on and at any given time knows the what, where and when of any ongoing project. We have been in business since 1994 and currently have over 5000 clients on file, this means we are well respected in the community for our services, design ability and above all our integrity. Or words are our currency, without that we would just be another store with stuff.

Trends are like busses... if you miss one there will another one along shortly. We prefer to work with transitional colors, fabrics and furniture that are timeless classics. Nothing will date your home faster than the latest trend from last year's frenzy. We do however add a trend or two of any given blow of the wind when it makes sense in a customer home. For example: Mirrored furniture pieces make sense when a room needs more light, or is small and needs an illusion of more space or to reflect something important in the room. Another example would be a Zen like art object, if your into fung-sway this will make a home owner happy to have a harmonious object to still a space in their home. Going Green is big trend now, not the color, but the purchasing of recyclable goods, as in Save the Earth, if that's possible.

It all began innocent enough, it was 1993, we had bought a 1920 med and wanted antique wrought Iron for our patios. I began answering the classified ads, stopping at yard sales and progressed to flea markets. I found beautiful stuff, but nothing quite right for me. Because I was bored (I was the founder and publisher of Southern Homes magazine), I started rescuing the stuff, refinishing it in my backyard. Pretty soon our yard looked like a mini version of Sanford and Sons,(the old TV sitcom). My husband at the time said he could not take it anymore and that all the stuff had to go. So, I ran an ad, had a yard sale and sold every piece. But, I continued to buy and sell, I was addicted. It got to the point people would knock on my door asking for me to find them particular pieces. It was a though destiny had come literally knocking on my front door. So in 1994 my daughter, who had just graduated high school, and me opened Paris Flea. Through the years we evolved to a new furniture store with full service design. And we have loved every minute of it, there is nothing as rewarding as making people happy.
