Tim Murray and Larry Purcell established Purcell Murray Company in August of 1981. Over the years, Purcell Murray Company has become one of the largest, most influential, and successful distributors in the country. The Purcell Murray Company, a distributor of premium kitchen and bath products, was founded in August of 1981 when Tim Murray and Larry Purcell were granted distribution rights to the Litton microwave line for the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Twenty-years later, Purcell Murray Company now employs over 80 people and handles the Marketing, Sales and Distribution efforts for Best, Bosch, Broan, Franke, Gaggenau, Thermador and U-Line throughout California and Northern Nevada as well as La Cornue throughout North America.

The company headquarters are now located south of San Francisco in Brisbane, California. Their Northern California presence includes a 60,000 square foot warehouse and their new office and fulfillment facilities open in November and state-of-the-art showroom and cooking center will open in December of 2001. Their Southern California facility boasts 10,000 square feet of breathtaking showroom and cooking centers as well as 50,000 square feet of warehouse facilities.
