Epoxy floor coatings are the most recognized type of upgrade, but not every garage floor is a candidate for epoxy coatings. Some floors need extensive, costly repairs before a coating can be applied, and others may have structural or moisture problems that prevent coatings form adhering to the concrete. In addition to a standard slip-resistant Diamond plate texture, there are several styles to choose from including wood, slate, marble, and even carpet. There is even a porous, "Free-Flow" tile which allows dirt, water, snow or ice to fall through the surface to keep you high and dry above the elements.
