Dances Dances humorously presents a series of figures performing a variety of dances: from flamenco to waltzes, from the Rio carnival to the sinuous movements of bikini-clad girls. There is even a dance of body-builders who move each tiny muscle in perfect harmony as they show off their incredible physiques. The sexy woman doing a strip tease on the soup dish is also performing a silent yet irresistible dance. Designer Marco Ladoda used these amusing subjects because he deliberately wanted to make us smile each time we looked at them, and he succeeded. Dances comes in four versions with colorful backgrounds in peach, vanilla, mint green and white. They can be easily mixed and matched, and it is even more fun to combine them with motifs by other artists. With Dances, a new style in dining takes a bow. |

Floating Marco's
first collection for "Poi ti spiego..." possesses exuberant qualities
because the sinuous movements of his figures ideally portray the sensuality
of a body freely expressing its most primitive nature, almost recalling
ancient times and rituals. Because she represents a body swimming freely in a vital fluid, involving all the senses in a perception so intimate that it explodes in ecstasy. And we -- wretched humans unable to feel such sensitivity - are incredibly attracted to these images because we yearn to discover and understand the secret to happiness. |

All sets are delivered in a new and unique packaging, a convenient multipurpose metal container that can be used to store normal everyday objects or, what would be considered, very strange objects indeed. It can be used as a seat for a child, for building a stairway, or it can be played like a drum. |

STRAPPI Roberta Petrobelli, a young artist from Cortina d'Ampezzo who lives and works in Milan, had already designed "Spirals" for the illy collection and "Zebra" for the "amici" [friends] collection. They are among our most beautiful designs due to her superb use of black on white and her skill in creating a three-dimensional effect with a thick layer of paint that produces not only a visual, but also a tactile result. Strappi [Strips] is a design that Roberta created during the three years that we have been working on this project. It comes from the idea of arranging small strips of paper torn by hand on the plate. Strappi [Strips] comes in two versions: the first is simply black and white, and for this reason, perhaps even more striking. The decoration, baked at 1270 degrees, melts into the enamel forming tiny black ridges that contrast with the off-white enamel. This subtle and almost imperceptible contrast gives the decoration a magical touch. A
