The Ultimate Tree House

Your tree house will be shipped in two main pieces: the clubhouse, and the log. Smaller pieces may include a fireman's pole, slide or other such option which will be listed on your invoice. In order for the installation to proceed in an efficient manner, we ask that you be aware of the following terms and conditions:

Delivery and installation charge is $500.00 in the state of California. (Individual delivery quotes for other destinations.) This charge includes delivery and two hours labor. Labor after the first two hours will be billed at the rate of $60.00 per hour. Advance preparation can save the customer money. In order to expedite installation, we ask that customers provide a "clear path" between our truck and the final installation site.

Customer is to provide a 7'x7'x4" rebar enforced, concrete slab on the desired installation site. The top of the slab should be at or above ground level to prevent water from pooling at the base of the tree house (water + wood + time = rot ). No foundation bolts are need to be placed; our concrete bolts are installed in dry concrete.

Customer is to provide a forklift to unload and carry the tree house from from the trailer to the final installation site (Our delivery man is a certified forklift driver). A forklift can be rented from most local rental yards for around $120 per half day. The forklift should meet or exceed the following specifications and be able to be driven over all terrain between the delivery trailer and the final installation site (surrounding structures like fences, retaining walls, houses and sheds must also be considered):

• Lift capacity should be at least 5,000 pounds
• Lift height should be at least 12 feet
  
• Most sites require a rough terrain forklift with pneumatic tires. 4-wheel drive is recommended, but may or may not be needed.
  
• Forks must be under 5" wide or customer must provide 6' fork extensions

In the event that surrounding structures and\or terrain prevents forklift access, other arrangements can be made (at customer's expense). We have done this many, many times. With a little planning, everything will go smoothly and installation can be done in as little as 30 minutes.
